WEDDING
SAM + WILL
Our love story, from Sam’s perspective:
After designing my engagement ring with Susie back in 2023 and getting to know her kindness, creativity, and taste, it felt like a no-brainer to work with her on my wedding band, too.
I had always envisioned incorporating a family heirloom into my wedding day jewelry but wasn't sure exactly how I wanted to do it. When I brought my grandmother's art deco-era sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet to Susie with a lofty dream of incorporating it into my wedding band, she immediately understood the assignment. We decided to remove a few links from my bracelet, which was slightly too big on me, and use the extra stones in my wedding ring. That way, I could wear both on my wedding day (see: something blue x2).
As if that wasn't enough, I also had the absolute pleasure of renting a pair of Susie Saltzman diamond earrings for my ceremony and reception, as well. The stunning earrings tied all of my jewelry together beautifully and I received so many compliments.
When I look back at photos of my August wedding, I'm struck with such gratitude for Susie and her team for their thoughtfulness and intentionality in both designing my wedding band and bringing new life to a beloved family heirloom.
