Kristine + Adam

Our love story, from Kristine’s perspective:

Adam and I met in college through one of my best friends. He was a skater boy and I definitely said see you later boy.  We became friends, which turned into flirting and then it was very will-they-won't-they. By my junior year of college/his senior year, we had become best friends and we decided to try dating. At his graduation his mom asked me, "how do I introduce you to people? Can I say you're his girlfriend?" I shrugged and said "sure!" We've been together ever since. While his mom may have defined the relationship, he did propose to me himself just over 7 years later with the most beautiful Susie Saltzman ring of my dreams in Bigfork, Montana with our best friends who would later do us the honor of being our officiant and best man. We were engaged for just over 2 years and celebrated our wedding on November 4, 2023 with our closest friends and family at Gardener Ranch in Carmel Valley, CA. May 2024 we will celebrate a decade of being K + A.

Designing the ring:

Adam did good, like really good but I do have to give myself a little credit and of course, give Susie pretty much ALL the credit. I spent years researching rings, trying them on, trying to figure out what I would want, knowing that this was a big investment piece for us and something I would cherish forever. While these years went by, we were growing up, growing in our relationship and growing in our careers. I finally put together a spreadsheet (so romantic) with images and the things I knew I did and didn't want. Adam and Susie took care of the rest. In August 2021, while visiting our friends in Bigfork, Montana, he completely shocked me by proposing with the most beautiful 3 stone emerald ring of my dreams. Literally the day before he proposed, I was whining to him and our friends, "I just feel like the engagement will never happen" - being dramatic. Poor Adam had to keep quiet as he knew what he was about to do. I remember him getting on one knee, asking me to marry him and my first words were, "Is this real?!" Absolutely shocked. And SO HAPPY! 

Diamond rentals for the big day:

I also rented diamond jewelry from Susie Saltzman for my wedding events and WHAT A DREAM! I couldn't be happier with my experience! The diamond tennis necklace, diamond studs, and diamond bezel drop earrings were all stunning and added the perfect touch of elegance to my wedding weekend outfits. The rental process was easy and seamless, and the pieces arrived in pristine condition. I received numerous compliments on the jewelry and felt like a true queen for all of my events. I highly recommend renting from Susie Saltzman for any special occasion or event where you want to feel extra glamorous. My only warning is - YOU WILL fall head over heels in love with the jewelry and YOU WILL be devastated having to return. You will also dream of owning anything and everything SS, you may even stay up late at night plotting how you can buy every gorgeous piece. I daydream about the tennis necklace and studs pretty much daily! Beyond the jewelry, Susie is an absolute gem, a beautiful sparkling diamond of a human being! Thanking my lucky stars to have stumbled upon her and her gorgeous designs. The world is a more beautiful, enchanting place because of Susie!
