Hannah + Matt

From Hannah’s perspective:

When we first started talking about looking at rings I knew I wanted something really timeless but with a bit of a vintage twist. Matt and I decided to both be involved in the process, and we found this beautiful elongated antique cushion cut stone, but hadn't yet figured out how we wanted to design the ring. We went down a rabbit hole looking for the perfect jeweler, and once we came across Susie's profile I knew she was the right choice.

I was so drawn to her incredible attention to detail (especially with pave work!), keen eye for design, and warm personality. She guided us through the ring design process so seamlessly, and had such creative suggestions along the way. It was really important to me to let the stone breathe on top, and add some hidden details to the bottom of the setting instead. Susie suggested pave prongs, which I loved, and she even managed to source a tiny ruby for the center for a personal touch (my mom's engagement ring is a ruby, and Matt's birthstone is also a ruby). Matt also snuck in a special engraving at the end, which I know Susie helped with too. It was these custom details that made my ring feel so connected to who me and Matt are as a couple, and I loved that it also tied back to my family. We're so in love with the final product, and can't recommend Susie enough!
