Hannah + AJ

As told by Hannah:

It was on our first trip to Target to get groceries together, where AJ lined up all of the frozen foods, then cold foods, and then dry foods (the right way- and the same way how I do it it) where I first imagined becoming his wife and creating a family of our own. It’s been 4 years since that trip to Target, and I’ve continued to fall more in love with him and the small habits that make us an incredible team and complement each other so well. The timing of our relationship has always felt right - and when we should have felt hardships, it has always seemed easy. I know it may annoy our friends and family how similar we have become, but it’s secretly my favorite part about our relationship. I love doing everything with him- traveling the world together, spoiling our pup Enzo with many treats and toys, spending our 10 Ams watching The Price is Right, and yelling at the TV when the HGTV couple has the most unrealistic expectations. I am beyond excited to walk together in life through the joy, the darkness, and the mundane.

When it came to picking out my engagement ring, AJ and I knew we would like to design it together. I didn’t anticipate the experience being so wonderful and for the ring to have so much meaning behind it. Meeting Susie over the phone and in person was a dream - we felt like we had her undivided attention and that she genuinely was just as excited about our ring as us.

The ring meaning breakdown:

• The bridge:

• All bridges have to be built with a strong foundation to last. The bridge we chose is a part of Susie's Attraversiamo Collection - with the Italian meaning "lets cross over"

• The double prongs holding the center stone:

• AJ and I entered into our marriage doing a foot washing ceremony. The foot washing ceremony symbolized our humility to never put ourselves before the other and live out our marriage with unconditional love. The double prongs showcases the two of us together in our marriage.

• The 3 stones had two meanings to us:

• As Christians, we believe in the father, son, and holy spirit

• As partners, we promise to love each other through our past, present, and future

• The inside engraving:

• The sentiment on the inside has such a sweet message that made me a puddle when I discovered it
