Emily + Ian

Our love story, from Emily’s perspective:

Ian and I met during the pandemic when we were both in residency. We were two overworked healthcare workers who happened to find each other at the strangest of times. Our first date was at a wine bar on a chilly November night, and the rest was history! Ian proposed last year during our trip to Taiwan, with all my closest friends and family there with us. It was such a special moment and thoughtful way to celebrate our love and also my family's heritage.

I knew I wanted to design my ring with Susie as soon as I saw her work. I'd never seen such gorgeous ring settings with such close attention to detail. I loved how intentional she was with every aspect of the ring and how she took the time to make sure it was exactly how I envisioned it. Ian and I were doing long distance while we were in the design process, and Susie and her team were super accommodating in terms of coordinating logistics as well. I get so many compliments on my ring and I never get tired of looking at my custom XOXO setting! Susie treated us like friends rather than just clients and is just such a lovely person overall. Working with her was such a pleasure and I'd recommend her over and over again!
