elizabeth + Jacob

As told by Elizabeth:

Jacob and I met in 2017 at the University of Pittsburgh as undergraduate students where I was preparing for Physician Assistant school and Jacob was soon to commission as an Officer in the Navy.  We were introduced by a mutual friend and quickly knew this would be a relationship that would last a lifetime. 

Jacob asked me to be his wife in April 2022 on the bank of my grandparents’ lake where we have made countless memories together. It was truly the most perfect moment made even more special by my custom Susie Saltzman ring. A family friend showed us their engagement ring that stopped us in our tracks; after learning it was Susie’s work, I knew there was no one else I wanted to design an engagement ring with. The design process was seamless with Susie helping us every step of the way. She was very accommodating with Jacob being in the Navy, me in Physician Assistant school, and Susie in NYC, we curated my perfect ring almost entirely through video chat! We started with the basics, picking the stone and metal together but I still wanted some surprises, so I left the final touches up to Jacob…well Susie really…sorry Jacob you did a great job!

That day in April was a magical blur with my stunning ring adding the most perfect touch. My engagement ring embodies our story and our love so well.  I wouldn’t change anything about our journey, and I wouldn’t change anything about my flawless experience with Susie Saltzman!
