Abby + Nick

Our love story, from Abby’s perspective:

Working with Susie and her team was (and continues to be), a magical, personal and joyous experience for us. Nick and I met in college, during which time my sister and I stumbled upon Susie’s Instagram and immediately fell in love. I designed my dream ring on a post-it note and gave it to my sister for safekeeping until the day Nick asked her what she thought I’d like in a ring. The moment he proposed in Central Park took my breath away when I saw my dream ring come to life, it was truly perfection.

During our engagement, we also entrusted Susie to re-design a very special heirloom ring. While keeping to its original attributes to pay honor to our family, she also gave it special touches that spoke to our love and the new family that we were creating together. During this period, we also worked with Susie to design both of our wedding bands, which again, turned out perfectly.

Before our wedding I reached out to her to design a special gift for myself and my two sisters to celebrate our sisterhood, and on our wedding day I gifted them matching necklaces that we all wear close to our hearts to this day.  All of these special items came together on our wedding day in Litchfield, CT. The day was perhaps the rainiest in a decade, but it was perfect and uniquely ours. We look forward to designing more jewelry with Susie in the future, as each piece marks a special place in our journey together, and our experience working with her has felt like family.
