ABBIE + Henry

Our love story, from Abbie’s perspective:

Henry and I met in New York City in the Fall of 2019 just a few months after I moved to the city after graduating from Auburn. I was immediately attracted to him because of how different we were. With him growing up right outside of the city and I growing up in Alabama it was a true opposite attract moment. We loved exploring New York City together, but he also fell in love with summer nights spent on the screened-in porch in Alabama at my parent’s home. A couple years later he proposed to me on the street outside of my parent’s home when we were visiting for Easter. We were long distance at this point with him being in San Francisco and me still in NYC so we were over the moon knowing that we would finally be together again and this time forever.

Heirloom diamonds, from Henry’s perspective:

I knew that customizing an engagement ring was a daunting task, but it wasn't until I actually got into the process with Susie that I came to fully appreciate how special this ring would be. Before we got engaged, my mom gifted me a set of heirloom diamonds from her mom (Gigi), who both Abbie and I are particularly close with. When I finally saw the ring, I knew this was the perfect ring, for the perfect girl. Susie and her team were extremely helpful throughout the entire process and helped me make the right choice!
